Some photographers shy away from woodland photography in the summer months because of the overwhelming green, but there's lots of different opportunities to take advantage of as the woodland canopy creates a different play of light and rich wet foliage offers some beautiful softening detail to the understory. This was a very enjoyable morning and the first time I've photographed this woodland in the summertime. Hopefully it offers some inspiration and ideas for your own woodland photography.
