(KUTV) Salt Lake City is about to host a major national athletic event involving hundreds of athletes.

They are no ordinary athletes; they are military veterans who were injured in battle and have found a way to fight back.
One of the athletes participating in the 36th National Veterans Wheelchair Games is Mike Johnson, 68, from Riverton. He is a teacher and track coach at Riverton High School and served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.
