In this video James takes a guided tour of Kevin Walker's Ten Tons Recording Studio, found in north Essex. 'Kev' has been acquiring and collecting studio gear, microphones and instruments for years with the goal of having a dedicated studio space to house them all and Ten Tons, is that space.
In Part 1, James and Kev explore the control room and in particular look at the consoles and mic input racks.
PS. Sorry about the dark footage, like many studios it's quite an intimate space where bright lights are not usually required.
