In this video for TSR - Jivey Talks Tech, James takes a little trip out to visit James Curtis-Thomas for a vocal mixing challenge with a difference. A simple question, which sounds best an SSL 9000J channel strip plugin, in this case we are using the bx_console SSL 9000 J from Plugin Alliance, or the new SSL Super 9000 1U rack channel strip.
The track being mixed is by Native James and is called -Block featuring Double S & Professor Green, and the particular section we are looking at is the Professor Green rap which was not recorded at the same time or studio as the rest of the track.
