24 child predator arrests and counting. Each suspect traveling to meet a child for sex. Instead, they met our takedown team. This is Operation Rescue Our Children.
We're taking you inside our undercover chatting operation, where our detectives chatted with men looking to meet with a child to sexually exploit them. These men, ages 21 to 61, come from all walks of life. One is an active-duty Navy sailor. One traveled from Orlando to meet with the child. Another was a JSO civilian employee when we arrested him (he's since resigned).
Parents, if this scares you, it should. Our detectives work tirelessly every single day to stop predators like this, but we need your help. Monitor who your children are chatting with online. Keep a close eye on their internet activity. It could mean the difference between them becoming a victim.
We would not have had this level of success without our partner agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.
