Jacksonville, we need your help.
On Tuesday, October 22nd of last year, 53-year-old Robbie Roberts, a retired Air Force Veteran, was on an early morning walk in the Hillcrest neighborhood. As she crossed the street at the intersection of Normandy Boulevard and Lenox Avenue, a dark vehicle (spotlighted here in this video) hit her and left the scene.
Roberts fought for her life in the hospital for several days. She died days before her 54th birthday.
Please look at this surveillance footage showing the vehicle we believe hit her. It appears to be a Nissan Juke or a similar car. If you recognize this vehicle or know who may have been behind the wheel, please give us a call (904.630.0500). Someone has to know who hit Roberts; we will continue to work until we bring justice for those who loved Roberts.
