🚨 Armed drug trafficker runs from FHP in a 400-horsepower Infiniti — and what troopers uncover inside turns a short chase into a major felony bust.
What starts as a brief Florida Highway Patrol pursuit in Wildwood quickly becomes a high-stakes arrest. A black Infiniti Q60 Red Sport bolts from a trooper, hits triple-digit speeds, and crashes into a retention pond. The chase is short — but what’s inside the car explains everything.
The driver was identified as Keon Lamar Marsh. Inside the vehicle, troopers discovered a loaded Glock pistol fitted with a 30-round extended magazine and a Glock switch — an illegal modification that converts the handgun into a fully automatic machine gun. They also recovered over 750 grams of methamphetamine, Xanax pills, cash, and drug packaging materials. Some of the narcotics were even hidden inside a ranch dressing container, an attempt to move drugs in plain sight.
Marsh now faces a long list of serious charges, including:
Aggravated Fleeing to Elude
Armed Trafficking in Methamphetamine
Possession of a Machine Gun
Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition
Possession of Controlled Substances
Evidence Tampering
Reckless Driving
Driving While License Suspended
This case is a reminder of how fast a routine traffic stop can turn dangerous — and how much can be riding on a single decision to run.
