Tonight’s case follows Andre Lamar Brown, a suspect wanted for a violent home invasion in Lansing, Michigan, where a victim was stabbed during a knife attack. Brown fled the scene in a stolen 2019 Kia Sportage, triggering a multi-agency BOLO.
Troopers spotted the vehicle on I-96 near Howell. What followed was a high-speed pursuit that reached 125 miles per hour, with Brown weaving through traffic and refusing to stop. After being boxed in near Pleasant Valley Road in Brighton, Brown bailed into the woods. Officers chased him on foot, tackled him, and took him into custody.
A Gerber folding knife was recovered from his waistband, and a kitchen knife was found inside the vehicle.

Assault / Resist / Obstruct
Driving While License Suspended
Outcome:
Andre Lamar Brown was convicted and sentenced to 3–7 years in Michigan state prison.
