From the Department of Photography, Jamie M. Allen, Stephen B. and Janice G. Ashley curator and head; Daniel Peacock, assistant curator; and Louis Chavez, curatorial assistant, will discuss their collaborative approach to selecting and exhibiting material from the museum’s vast Photography Collection. Throughout the talk, they will highlight the strengths of this notable collection, the strategies they used to exhibit a range of artists and movements, and discuss the nuances of representing the history of photography in a single museum gallery.
