In this annual lecture on George Eastman’s life one hundred years ago, former Legacy Collection Archivist Jesse Peers will explore what George Eastman and Eastman Kodak Company were up to in 1922 through an illustrated talk on related objects and historic documents.

Topics include the grand opening of Eastman Theatre, correspondence with then President Warren G. Harding, and rare footage of a playful Eastman with his companions at Oak Lodge. Join us as Jesse takes a break from his duties as Cycling Manager for Reconnect Rochester and joins us for an afternoon at the museum.

This program coincides with the exhibition One Hundred Years Ago: George Eastman in 1922, on view in the second-floor sitting room through the end of the year.
