A cover of the song Iine!! by Babymetal, from the self titled album 'Babymetal'.
I have to admit, when I first heard this song, it was definitely my least favourite, but after seeing it live, I quickly changed my mind!
It's a fun and easy song, however the original definitely feels more like an electronic song with the metal guitars added afterwards. As great as it is, I thought I would approach it as a metal song with synths added, just for a different overall sound/mix!
However, I felt like this was a cover I could not do justice with my vocals nor am I good enough with synths to recreate the sounds good enough, so I have two special guests with this one! The Plant Commander makes some incredible synth songs and covers (as well as metal covers too!) and ReNMO has an incredible voice! I asked both of them to help out and put in a bit of their own style and personality in their respective parts, and I think the end result is amazing!
So special thanks to ReNMO and The Plant Commander for lending their amazing talents to help make this cover better!
