Icee Hockey (NES)
This is an exhibition match against the CPU. There aren't any difficulty settings. So the CPU player is pretty challengin by default.
I've found the best team to play against is the now defunct TCH (gray team) as it gives them 3 large players which puts them at a big disadvantage.
If you make it to the 3rd Period with a tie game, you'll go into shoot off mode.
In this mode, my strategy is to approach the CPU goalie, then press up momentarily to fake it out as I shoot low.
For Defense against the CPU, I do nothing and let it miss.
I got particularly unlucky here as the CPU rarely shoots 2 goals. It's usually lucky to get any goals at all.
If you manage to still have a tie afterward, the game will go into another period, only this time the Goalies will be removed.
