I recommend you mute this video and listen to music.
Run TIme: 13m54s
Run Skill Level: ???
This run doesn't use any glitches. However, the staircase is a rather odd case, and I'll be completely honest, I don't understand it.
You're supposed to be able to take 5 hits from the ghosts before the characters will fall due to the Anti Ghost Suit that is purchased before making the climb. And if you fall 3 times, the game is over.
It seems as though when you open the doors in the building, if you can make it to a certain point, your characters will be able to fall much more than 3 times.
I'm guessing it's because you're supposed to have one fall for each ghostbuster in your group and even though there isn't an audio or visual clue, perhaps you're finding more ghostbusters hiding in the closets to join your cause.

Sweet Home was released by Capcom for the Famicom in 1989.
It was never released in America likely for censorship reasons.
It was released to coincide with a feature film on the same day..

Run Skill Level: Succumb to randomness.
This game has a good many chances to completely kill a single segment run. Luckily, as far as RPGs go, this game is relatively short. Clocking in at around an hour to complete.
Almost every enemy in the game has a random chance of doing a move that will cause a status effect to one of your party members. Each time they use the status causing attack, it has a chance of missing. If it lands, the run is over. The only exception is curse. Curse will slowly take away the Mind Points of a character and ends when they are depleted.
Sub hour should be possible using this strategy with better luck and execution. スイートホーム [Sweet Home] RTA Any% 1h01m08s](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/cuQSJC7cGBI/mqdefault.jpg)
