I thought having kids would slow me down.

And they did.

We hike slower. We stop more often. We take longer to get anywhere.

But somewhere along the way, I realized slowing down was the point.

Fatherhood hasn’t taken me away from the things I love—travel, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. It’s taught me how to appreciate them even more.
