I tested five very fast track-focused tyres in 275/35 R18, including the new Bridgestone Potenza RE 71 RZ, Hoosier TrackAttack Pro, Nankang Sportnex CR S, Vitour Tempesta P1 plus and the not-quite-200-treadwear Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3R. The fastest laps were only part of the story - the real difference was how each tyre handled heat over a proper run. As ever, I have tried to keep the data honest, including the slightly awkward bits.
