The BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO3, Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent, and Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT are three of the most popular all-terrain tires on the market. But which one is right for you?
In this comparison, I test all three tires in the same size (LT 275/65R18 E) on the same vehicle at the same pressures to find out how they really differ. I cover on-road comfort, noise levels, steering feel, and off-road traction on my desert test loop.
What I found:
- BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO3 - Impressively tough and quiet, but also the heaviest (58 lbs)
- Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent - The comfort king with the best NVH, but steering feels lazy
- Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT - The sharpest handling and best off-road balance, but firmest and noisiest
