I Stopped using clock oil, because I found something better for me. The clock oil seemed too thin, kinda like using 3-n-1 oil. My friend, Mark Munnerlyn, that also has a YouTube channel had a video using the motor oil that I show in this video as well. I tried the motor oil and don't plan on going back. 0W-20W Full Synthetic Motor Oil.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
