I didn't realize how bad off this clock was. Even though you can't see the inside of the clock, hopefully he has the Face and Topper of this clock and all will be good.
Besides needing cleaning, the chain was slipping for some reason so come with me to see just how I solved the problem and got this Lux Clock Back in running order.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
