Not to sure if the (D&A) is a brand of a company or everyone can use it. This is a Lovely clock from China. One of the problems is how do you clean the glass on the outside, in between the carvings? Two is the hands will not come off, so the only thing I could do is Oil the Movement. Thank Goodness the movement was clean looking.
Here, I bought three clocks as a lot. Got them from GW on line action. This is the first clock and just checking with GW, they also sold these same clocks separately. The China made clock like mine sold for, $72.00 with shipping. The Lot cost me $112.00 including shipping. Lets see if I did ok or lost my pants.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
