The Boeing 727 is arguably the best looking commercial aircraft in existence, but that didn’t stop me from seeing what I could do to bring it up to modern standards.

This 727X design proposal is based around the need to modify the existing airframe and components for maximum efficiency and performance.

An all new wing design (with split-scimitar winglets) gives this 727 concept an all-new look.

Not only that…I committed the mortal sin of eliminating the #2 engine. As much as it hurt to do that, it was the right thing to do.
