Whenever a new airline begins service to San Diego (my hometown airport), I can’t resist purchasing a ticket for no other reason than to try it out.

This a detailed review of Swoop Airlines flight number 751 from San Diego (SAN) to Edmonton (YEG) in April 2022. I can’t say that I’ve ever had any burning desire to visit Edmonton, but you know what? Thanks to Swoop, I learned that I actually like Edmonton quite a bit.

For those of you interested in the details, this was a 2 hour and 45 minute flight on a 737-800 (C-FLBV), and I was seated in 5A. My only regret is that I wish I would have dressed warmer. Canada is still cold in April!
