Welcome back to Sandustry!

Episode 21 is another huge step towards completely stripping this world of basically everything it owns.

The biggest milestone this time is that we finally get to the point where the underground is essentially cleared. Every last pocket of sand and resources underneath the map is being dug out and sent back through the factory for processing.

And with all of that material moving through the system, we desperately need more water.

Which means we need more snow.

So naturally, I make the Permafrost upgrades even more ridiculous.

The new setup produces so much snow that it literally can’t get out of the way quickly enough before even more is generated.

That should give us a much stronger supply of snow, steam and water as we push the factory towards the endgame.

But while clearing the final underground sections, we also make a slightly unexpected discovery…

hidden Lumlings.

A couple of them have somehow been sitting in a tiny underground pocket this entire time, completely untouched while I’ve been tearing apart basically the entire planet around them.

By the end of the episode, the underground is almost completely dealt with and there’s really only one major job left:

the surface.

We’re getting dangerously close to having mined the entire Sandustry map.

Underground cleared.
Snow production completely ridiculous.
Hidden Lumlings discovered.
