We’re back with Sandustry, and Episode 5 completely changes how we mine and upgrade the factory!
I start out desperately searching for more Flux so I can upgrade the painfully slow drill… only to discover the LASER, which absolutely destroys copper, ice and basically anything else standing in our way.
With enough copper finally coming in, we expand the power system, build a steam turbine, hit the 100,000 energy requirement and unlock the next tier.
That leads us to a strange Strataform, which rewards us with a renewable source of sand — meaning after all that digging, we may finally have infinite sand.
And then things get even stranger.
We start experimenting with Void Seeds, Void Blooms, Red Sand, Moonhop and Void Juice, eventually discovering a way to create Fluxite ourselves.
So apparently… we can FARM Flux now?!
The factory is getting completely out of control, and I love it.
