Welcome back to Sandustry!
Episode 19 starts with me going on another tiny modding spree.
After fighting with Dune Sand for the last few episodes, I’ve now changed the Silica Refinement so my laser can convert Dune/Sun Sand directly into regular sand. No more constantly swapping over to the Void Gun just to clean up all those annoying leftover patches.
And it is ridiculously satisfying.
I also make some changes to how the laser interacts with ice and steam, before continuing the never-ending job of clearing out the world and reorganising the factory around all this newly available space.
Then we check the production lines…
…and discover the seed system is completely clogged.
Seeds are settling at the bottom of the setup, burnt residue is getting recycled back through it, and the whole thing effectively ends up stuck in a loop. So once again, a system that technically worked now needs to be torn apart and cleaned up properly.
Meanwhile, the gold keeps flowing.
That means another expansion to our increasingly ridiculous Gold Storage, giving us even more room before the factory inevitably fills that up as well.
By the end, we’re continuing the bigger goal of going through the factory system by system, fixing the old spaghetti builds and making everything cleaner and more efficient — with the wetting section next on the list for a complete rebuild.
Laser upgraded.
Dune Sand fixed.
Seed system broken.
More gold storage needed.
