Atomcraft can seem incredibly complicated when you first start playing, but understanding a few hidden mechanics makes everything much easier.

In this beginner tutorial, I explain how solid, liquid and gas pixels actually behave, including why loose materials naturally form 45-degree slopes and how liquids and gases move through your builds.

I also cover one of the game’s most confusing mechanics: reactions needing empty space. If a reaction creates more pixels than it starts with, it needs somewhere for those new materials and gases to appear even when your furnace is already hot enough.

This guide also includes:

How pumps actually move materials
Why filters sometimes appear blocked
How to track and locate specific ores
Keeping important items during inventory transfers
Collecting methane from cows
A simple reusable tree farm
Producing charcoal without wasting wood
Turning charcoal into carbon efficiently

These are the tips and tricks I wish I understood when I first started playing Atomcraft.
