After more sleuthing, it seems like these are manufactured by the same company who makes the LifeDream LD Micro SDHC / SDXC cards available all over AliExpress. LD Micro SDs seem to have OK reviews and reliability from the minimal other tests I've seen. They are *typically* made in Taiwan and packed in Shenzhen. The general consensus however is that you should only buy memory cards from known brands and reliable vendors. This card is the opposite. This card WAS NOT cheaper than a Samsung 32GB, but the question is, is it a good deal? Well...
I did have a good reason for buying this card: I wanted a 32GB with fast write speed. These were really only available in more expensive cards as the Samsung Evo Select 32GB is rated for 20MB/s write (I'm sure it gets higher in reality) where this one is rated at 90 (but reviews said 60)... Plus, I saw several mentions of this being an MLC card which would make it longer lived. I'm not sure that's true but I've only been testing the card for a few weeks. It doesn't seem to be terrible but I don't trust it yet.
The Samsung 64GB is a way better deal, significantly faster and likely more reliable. The best part is that it is also cheaper than the OV 64GB at $22.99 so it is the card I would recommend. Don't be cheap - spend the extra $8. Unless your device only supports 32GB (then get the Samsung 32GB, but it's a bit slower).
Don't buy an SD card from an unknown vendor like this as there's no guarantee of reliability, specification or warranty.
Funny thing, I got lucky with the shipping on this though. I did a race between the Samsung 64GB (bought from Amazon without Prime) and these (bought from AliExpress/China) and these lost by 2 days. Amazing how fast it was.
