I got mine off of Amazon, branded as the Depstech 4K: http://dreki.tech/diluz || I am interested to see how Youtube handles this. Not only are there actually 30 frames in one second instead of 60, the bitrate is significantly lower than the 4K30 format... Oddly enough if you look in a Media Info software it reads as 60FPS though. The good news is since it is an Allwinner cam, we may be able to hack it!
Video Info:
- 3840 x 2160
- 60 FPS (only 30 frames counted however, none doubled)
- 35,000 Kb/s
- H.264 format
Setting the cam to 4K30 is 60,000 Kb/s!
The camera specs:
- 8MP Sony IMX317
- Allwinner v5-100
- Touch screen
- Image stabilisation (crops 4K down to 3200 x 1800)
Do you see the crazy amount of HDR processing this camera does? This is the first time I have said "I could use this in my day-to-day filming" about an Allwinner camera so that is good.
