I’ve only spent a few hours with Expedition 33, but I can already tell—it’s something special. As a lifelong fan of games like Final Fantasy X, Persona 5, Legend of Dragoon, and Octopath Traveler, this one just hits different. The combat system might be one of my favorites ever. Between the parry mechanics, attack timing windows, and smart turn-based strategy, it’s easily the most satisfying turn based combat I’ve played in years. And the world? Gorgeous.
