Gaming is boring (I will not play anything without a gun or a ball in it).

Does this sound like you; augh, man I used to love playing games as a kid, but it just seems like gaming is so lame right now. Game’s are more bloated than ever, cost more than ever, and are generally worse than they have ever been. Then congrats you aren’t alone, and in my opinion, aren’t without a solution. You see, part of the problem of gaming being so “boring” is that gaming is now so saturated. Every year we have endless games that are open world, or live service, or both, and if you aren’t into those then it feels like the whole genre isn’t made for you. The easy rebuttal is to “play indie games” and yea, sure, but that too is so oversaturated that it’s hard to separate the Undertales from the Deep Space Waifu’s, and chances are, you have a job, so spending hours sifting through the mud until you find a piece of gold isn’t viable. To try and solve this for you, I want to talk about some games and methods that will possibly reignite your love for the hobby, and after, try to figure out how we got here in the first place.
The first game I want to talk about is Haste, a game that, as I’m sure you can see, is heavily inspired by Sonic The Hedgehog, and it illustrates one of the ways that modern gaming can feel lame, and how to alleviate that feeling. Sonic, according to some fans, has been consistently going downhill, no pun intended, and that would suck a lot. The solution, see what other developers are doing within that niche. Haste takes the same concepts of sonic, high speed, precise platforming, and puts it into a different aesthetic, world, and incorporates some rogue lite elements to make each playthrough a little different. When we consider that it comes at a fraction of the cost of current Sonic games and further consider that you might have more fun, it could be a great way to reinvigorate your love for the genre.
Gaming is boring, supposedly, but why gaming is boring is something that has always interested me. More notably, how to make gaming fun, or get to a point where I feel that gaming is fun again. This video will try to show you how to make gaming fun again, especially in our modern gaming landscape. Many claim modern gaming is boring, but why modern gaming is bad or even more broadly why gaming is bad might be a more internal battle larger than the gaming is not the same anymore scapegoat. This video looks at finding the answer.
Haste stars Zoe, a courier who’s confused as to why the world is falling apart. As you play, you’ll constantly be outrunning the terrain behind you collapsing, acting as your pseudo time limit. As you rush through the different areas you’ll encounter different characters, uncover the mystery of what’s going on, and engage in the buttery smooth gameplay. Haste runs well, and has no issues keeping up with the fast paced movement. Said movement sees you launching yourself off the terrain to gain height and momentum, and then diving down to carry that momentum forward. It’s like that shitty Dune game for the iphone if it didn’t suck dick. The gameplay finds ways to keep you engaged and the boss fights are just a dream to play through. Finally, the soundtrack is absolutely killer, just listen to some of this

Assassin’s Creed is one of the most prominent series of games in my life. Since the release of Assassin’s Creed two, I was totally on board with the franchise and purchased every new release when it came out. I loved seeing Ezios journey come to a close in Assassin’s Creed Revelations. I loved pillaging ships and discovering treasure in Assassins Creed Black Flag. I loved Assassins Creed Unity’s improved stealth, combat, and parkour and the game was absolute eye candy. I even enjoyed the complete shift to a more RPG heavy game that Assassins Creed Origins and Assassins Creed Odyssey took. Assassin’s Creed Two, however... well... I don’t really like Assassin’s Creed Two. Of course, a great deal can be said for the way Assassin’s Creed Two improved on the first game as it clearly refined the mechanics of Assassin’s Creed One and by all means serves as a good sequel.
The graphics were great for the time and even to this day still look pretty good and the world and costume design are arguably top notch. However, the game definitely has its flaws which made it an ultimately unenjoyable experience for me.
I found that Assassin’s Creed Two’s gameplay was quite dull and even lacking in some cases. The stealth was borderline non-existent and whatever semblance of stealth there was isn’t fleshed out or even given to the player all the time. The combat felt repetitive and I got a sense that I had seen just about everything the combat had to offer by the end of the first few missions. The parkour while ambitious is quite janky and jank is one of my biggest issues with the game. Having to restart missions and being detected by enemies across the map was ultimately the cherry on top for my mind-numbing replay of this game. Drawn out sequences, bugs, and a myriad of other things left me feeling like this game was a trip down memory lane, that I would never go down again.
Assassins Creed II is a 2009 action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.[1] It is the second major installment in the Assassins Creed series, a sequel to 2007s Assassins Creed. The game was first released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2009 and was later made available on Microsoft Windows in March 2010 and OS X in October 2010.
The plot is set in a fictional history setting and follows the centuries-old struggle between the Assassins, who fight for peace with free will, and the Knights Templars, who desire peace through control. The framing story is set in the 21st century and follows Desmond Miles as he relives the genetic memories of his ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The main narrative takes place at the height of the Renaissance in Italy during the 15th and early 16th centuries. Players can explore Florence, Venice, Tuscany and Forlì as they guide Ezio on a quest for vengeance against those responsible for betraying his family. The primary focus is to use the players combat and stealth abilities, as Desmond begins to uncover the mysteries left behind by an ancient race known as the First Civilization in the hope of ending the conflict between the Assassins and Templars.
I hope we can soon see assassins creed Valhalla
Assassins Creed Two is still a good game, I am just not a fan of Assassins Creed Two. I enjoyed every other game in the Assassins Creed franchise with Assassins Creed Unity being favourite. Unfortunatley this game is unpolished and unrefined. Assassins Creed II: Unpolished & Unrefined](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/WdGEXXUew0A/mqdefault.jpg)
