Luc, who is a detective sergeant, became the first NSW police officer born in Vietnam when he joined the force at 23. Nearly four decades later, he says that although the job can involve witnessing traumatic events, he says he knows it's the job for him.
“I’m a little bit of a positive type of person. And also I come from a war-torn country, the Vietnam War. So I have seen a lot more than that.”
