I've been wanting to get this one off my chest for a while now! South Australia is getting a bit of a reputation for the most expensive traffic infringement fines. Even someone like me, who's out to advise on safe motorcycling and pass on my safety tips and experience to new motorcyclists can fall foul of the non-negotiable speed camera. What are your experiences with getting flashed by the camera's? Let me know in the comments. Do you think I was shafted by a money making system? Should I have fought it in court? Would I have won? There's a strong argument in this upload that suggests I could have argued it was for my own safety and slowing down was a less safe option than speeding up.
