RODE WIRELESS GO 2 FOR MOTOVLOGGING - ON MOTORBIKE TEST
Here's a field test and review of how well the new for 2021 Rode Wireless Go 2 picks up audio when riding a motorbike. The transmitter attached to my jacket in the wind with the furry cat installed. Let's see if we as motorcyclists can record our audio with this amazing cordless set up.
I had the receiver in my pocket and literally clipped the microphone transmitter to the outside of my jacket and went up the freeway and back. This is a game changer for the #Motovlogger community who have struggled for years installing decent audio kit in to their helmets. Struggle no more, just clip it on and go. The technology is amazing and voice as clear as day up to around 70 kmh. With some post editing on the audio it would be simple to remove the engine background noise which I'll do in future uploads.
