This thing (was it a moose?) nearly took out the rider and his passenger. Even if it had clipped them they'd have careered in to the car with the camera I reckon. Stay alert to animals and ride accordingly, research animal movements and consider where and when you're riding. SLOW DOWN in areas of higher risk.
