Poison in B/X gets a bad reputation—“save or die” sounds brutal and unfair.
But that’s not how it actually works at the table.
In this video, I break down the lethality gradient behind poison in old-school D&D—and show you a simple procedure to run it so it feels fair, dangerous, and earned.
No house rules. Just better refereeing.
