In this video, I woodturn a beautiful piece of Birch on the Harvey T60S lathe, using carbide woodturning tools from Easy Wood Tools to shape and refine it. After turning the piece, I take my Dremel to add intricate texture, bringing an extra layer of dimension to the wood. To make the texture really pop, I enhance it using Jo Sonja pearlescent acrylic paints, giving the finished piece a stunning, iridescent look. Finally, I use Yorkshire Grit abrasive paste and Hampshire Sheen finishing wax to achieve a smooth and lustrous surface.
