SNR tools are poor measures of sufficient integration. They don't know what your target is. They don't know what makes a good image. Lots of times, they can't even tell clouds and light pollution from good information. There is a better way: the trusty Mach 1 Eyeball. And clues within an image reveal whether it's information rich or needs more integration time.
