Despite living at and imaging from a dark sky site, every week I get multiple messages to this effect: Why are you imaging in broadband when narrowband is so much better? The notion that narrowband is superior is an old astrophotography myth. A weird one, too, because not only is narrowband hugely inefficient compared to broadband but it's easily demonstrated. Time to murder one of astrophotography's most widespread and tenacious myths.
