Now that you've finished stitching the outer green border, let's start stitching the alternating scotch stitch in white for the inner border.
✨️ Same as before, I recommend your anchor stitch and final end of each strand be about 1 1/2" to 2″ long, or about 2 boxes long.
💚 Start in the top left corner working from the top diagonally down to the left with no holes in between, lining up your stitches with the box on the top and the box to the left.
💚 For the second stitch, bring your needle up in the hole next to where you did the first time, work diagonally down to the left skipping one hole in the middle and finishing by inserting your needle into the hole that is underneath where your previous stitch was worked.
💚 Continue working in this manner until you get 4 stitches wide and tall and then decrease back down to the smallest stitch, same as the outer border, following the outer green border as a visual reference for stitching.
