Do you have some Christmas decorations that you want to stiffen? Maybe you followed a crochet snowflake pattern and now have a limp snowflake, but want to put it on your tree.

Which stiffening method works best for Christmas crochet decorations? Starch? PVA glue? Sugar?

I tried them all out, so I can tell you from first-hand experience which is best for which application.

Full written details and pros and cons for each method here: yarnandy.com/best-ways-to-stiffen-crochet-decorations

Now you'll be able to make an informed choice, after watching and reading about this experiment.

If you want to make the snowflakes I used in this video, they take about 10 minutes each and the tutorial is here: youtu.be/f6C8koEj1Ik
