Whether you're making a tank top in the round or a granny square, joining rounds invisibly is a skill that will elevate your projects.
This is especially important if you have a large area of double crochet fabric, as the join can stand out.
This join uses standing double crochet stitches: youtu.be/gE5sOQOkmzI
It is used for my summer top pattern that's coming soon!

![How to make the Standing Double crochet stitch [CC]
Learn how to begin a row without using chains. This stitch is perfect to keep the edges of your work straight and elegant.
Standing double crochet stitches (standing treble crochet stitches in UK terms) are great to start any row that consists of double crochet stitches.
Its quick, beautiful, and looks exactly like a double crochet stitch.
It is also thicker than a chain, so it it perfect for working in the round, as the first stitch on the round will be invisible.
