Learn how to make the non-curling, easy Tunisian crochet stitch called the Tunisian reverse stitch, which looks like the Tunisian purl stitch on the back.

In this tutorial I also show you how to make the Tunisian reverse purl stitch, which is almost the opposite of the Tunisian simple stitch. You can use these two stitches to make Tunisian crochet ribbing, which I will show more of in a separate tutorial.

Learn how to begin a row without using chains. This stitch is perfect to keep the edges of your work straight and elegant.
Standing double crochet stitches (standing treble crochet stitches in UK terms) are great to start any row that consists of double crochet stitches.
Its quick, beautiful, and looks exactly like a double crochet stitch.
It is also thicker than a chain, so it it perfect for working in the round, as the first stitch on the round will be invisible.
