Game Endeavor | How to Set Jump Height in Godot 3.0 @GameEndeavor | Uploaded November 2018 | Updated October 2024, 7 hours ago.
In this tutorial, you'll learn how to define a specific jump height and duration to your player controller using kinematic equations. This is the easiest way to polish your physics, because it allows you to tweak these values directly rather than arbitrarily setting values for gravity and jump velocity. With this we can also set a minimum jump velocity, which we'll use to vary our jump height so that the player can choose how high they want to jump.
