This is a follow on video to my last upload on how to make some DIY outdoor light fittings for the garden path. In this episode I show how I made my own tiny rivets and used them to attach the bars to the two sides of the light fitting body. Riveting is a useful alternative to welding and it can be done with relatively simple and cheap tools. It also avoids the issue of distortion and accidently melting the parts you have taken so long to make.
I also use the CNC mill to manufacture the composite plastic base for the light fitting. Some lathe action too!
