ThiThis is a guide on replacing a screen on Clevo N960KR
For the replacement process we'll need the following tools.
- Tweezers
- a Plastic pick
To begin turn the laptop off and disconnect the power cord.
Start by removing the bezel. Pull the inner edge of the bezel away from the
screen unsnapping the tabs underneath. Go along the perimeter.
The screen is held in place with adhesive strips with loose tabs hanging
in the bottom of the screen. Using tweezers pick the tab on the left side
and pull out the adhesive strip. Pull out the adhesive strip on the right side.
Use a plastic pick to separate the LCD screen from the back cover and
place it on the keyboard.
Peel off the clear tape securing the video connector. Disconnect the video
cable. Discard the old screen.
Place the new screen on the keyboard. Reconnect the video cable.
Secure it with clear tape.
CAUTION! It is very important not to force any of the connectors.
As well you must not twist or slant the connector when plugging it in.
Now we can test the screen. Lift the screen up and turn the laptop on. The screen
is working and we can finish the installation process. Place the screen back
on the keyboard. Your new display may not come with adhesive.

Apply new strips and remove the protective plastic. Lift the screen up and apply
some pressure on the sides of the screen.
Replace the bezel. Press firmly in the bottom corners snapping the tabs back
in place. Go along the perimeter. Use a plastic pick to close the bezel near
