How to Renew Part 107 Drone License Now for Free

This video will cover the procedure to renew your Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) Part 107 Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) drone license.

The Part 107 license is issued by the FAA and good for two years. After that, the pilot must renew the certificate. From 2016 to March 2021, this renewal had to be done at one of the FAA testing centers.

After March 2021, this renewal is now free and can be done on-line at your home.

Simply visit www.FAASafety.gov, sign in and take the two hour training and open book test. Printing out the completion certificate will allow you to use your FAA Part 107 license for another two years.
