To Redeem your Steam gift card In Steam, go to Games and click on Redeem a Steam Wallet Code, and input your code here.
If you have a Steam card like this, without a scratch zone like other cards, the code is on the recipt.
Input it and if it gives you an error, make sure that you have input it right. For example my code I have mistaken O with 0 and 0 with the letter Q.
One you input the code correctly this screen will appear, you will see your balance increase and will be able to buy games. I hope this video helped.
