Even if you don't believe in "climate change" (it's July weather in March where I'm living), isn't it a good idea to live with respect for this beautiful planet?
Animals are our friends. Killing them for food and other items is literally also killing us. It's so not necessary. But for some reason, animal products are everywhere.
It's a supply and demand situation. Beyond food, there are a ton of products that incorporate animal components. Totally unnecessary. You’re a consumer, you can be a big part of the change.
In this episode of the Green Vegan Grandma, learn about veganizing your bathroom. That's right, unless you've been shopping consciously, it's likely there's animal fat all over your bathroom.
Do you like the idea of putting animal fat into your mouth, and all over your body? If not, check out this video. Subscribe, and tell your friends. I'll be back next week with more surprising news and information about how to live a fully aware, kind, and gentle existence on this beautiful planet. While we're still able.
These are some comprehensive ingredients lists, to help you shop with awareness:

There's also an app for your phone called "is it vegan" that has a database of products. You scan the bar code on a product and, if it's in their database, it'll tell you pretty quickly whether it's vegan or not.
The go-to site for alcohol is http://barnivore.com. They even have a form letter you can send to companies to get information about products to add to their database.
Thank you for being the change.
