In this session, participants will learn about how small ruminant production can be done so that it’s both profitable and sustainable. Key points include: how to have sustainable vegetation management with sheep and goats; the importance of budgeting for profitability; one producer’s experience with raising small ruminants as part of a diversified, multi-species herd.
