In this tutorial, you will learn how to make an image appear out of the bounds from the frame using Adobe Photoshop.

Step 1 -- Curves Adjustment
First we will retouch the background image a bit. So head over to the image tab at the top, move to adjustments and select the curves option. We will use this to add white balance to the image. That's why you need to pull the straight line down from the middle to form a curve.
Step 2 -- Removing the white background from the frame
Next, let's open an image of the frame. With that done, simply pick up the magic wand tool and select the white area in the image.
All you have to do is click on it and the magic wand tool will automatically make a selection. With that done, simply hit the delete button to remove it.
Step 3 -- Removing the background from the motor cyclist image
Now that we have a frame border, it's time to add the main object that we want to appear as out of bounds in Photoshop.
So let's open up the motorcyclist image, we will pick up the magic wand tool once again and since the background here is one single color, we will simply click on it and hit delete.
Step 4 -- Making the image out of bounds
Now place the image in the middle of the frame and increase the size of the image a bit so that it exceeds the size of the frame horizontally. The basic idea behind making an image out of bounds in Photoshop is to make the object look like it's going to pop out. Therefore, over here simply remove the rear tire.
For that, we will first add a layer mask. With that done, select the brush tool and choose a basic brush with hardness set to 100%. Now with the black color selected for the fill, apply the brush on the rear tire and it will automatically be erased. Be careful around the edges of the frame. To apply the brush in a single straight line, you can press the shift key while moving the cursor in a particular direction and the brush will be applied in a single line.
Step 5 -- Adding the gradient
Once the rear tire has been removed, let's move to the layer panel, select the background layer and create a new layer just above it. Now we will use the marquee tool to select an area approximately the size of the frame. With that done, let's select the gradient tool and open up the Gradient Editor window. Over here, we will change the color to sky blue for the left side and white for the right.
Lastly, let's select the radial style for the gradient and while the selection is still active, apply the gradient by drawing a straight line from the bottom to the top.
And that's basically how you can make an image look like it's out of bounds in Photoshop.
