Happy Friday!! A few people who tried my Lo Mein asked for the recipe so here it is. Its delicious whether you make it with meat or vegetarian. You need the sesame oil for that takeout taste π but of course if you are allergic then use another type. My vegetarians can replace the oyster sauce with more soy sauce or use a vegetarian oyster sauce. Enjoy and let me know if you make it.
8oz of noodles
Your choice of veggies
1 yellow Onion
3 green onions
1 clove garlic
1 inch piece ginger (sliced, grated or chopped)
3 boneless skinless chicken thighs (cut in pieces)
2 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp Mirin (Japanese style sweet rice wine).
Sauce (mix all ingredients together)
3 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp oyster sauce (for vegetarian version you can replace with soy sauce or vegetarian oyster sauce)
2 tsp honey
2 tsp sesame oil
